Be your own leadership coach comes to India
In January 2024, I was privileged to travel to India to launch my book with Pan MacMillan India. We enjoyed bookstore visits in Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur and are grateful for the support we received in arranging book signings and promotions at each. In addition to the bookstores, Be your own leadership coach is also now sold via Amazon India https://amzn.eu/d/5LT303S
Three years ago when I started my book writing journey never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would find myself in India launching my own book! 🔅Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would meet so many inspiring and interesting people across Australia and the globe.🌏
This journey has been life changing! I encourage you to find the things in life which truely inspire you to be of your best and grab them with both hands. Make the most of each opportunity and find the joy that comes with it! 💛
My thanks once again to the fabulous teams at Major Street Publishing and Pan Macmillan India - two awesome publishers who are supporting my book and continuing to bring it to life!
Magical Mumbai
Special thanks 🙏 to the wonderful bookstores 📚who arranged signings and promotions including
📘TITLE WAVES Branch of Better Yourself Books & Media Pvt Ltd who displayed ceiling high imagery within their bookstore which made me feel quite special! (what an incredible effort!),
📔Crossword Bookstores who had me chat to their entire team of sales folk to aid them in sharing the basis of the book with their readers (a great display of empathy to stand in the shoes of their customers)
📕Granth Book Store who has the most outstanding view of Mumbai life from where my book so neatly sits in their storefront window, and
📗The White Crow Book Store located in the elegant Jio World Drive mall who treated me with great care and support.
Delightful Delhi!
The second round of bookstore signings took place today in 5 beautiful bookstores! What a privilege!
I love a bookstore 📚❤️. It’s my happy place. I feel so relaxed yet also excited being immersed in the fabulous books gifting their ideas and stories towards a reader’s pleasure, growth and enjoyment.
Together with Pan Macmillan India we spent just the right amount of time relishing in exploring each bookstore, as we did completing book signings and promotions.
We had the pleasure of spending time at
📕Kunzum bookstore where we spoke with the owner Ajay Jain who we discovered was speaking at Jaipur Literature Festival !
📗Full circle Bookstore GK I where we had an interesting discussion about the art of Yoga, as well as how my book differs from other leadership books by focussing on self-coaching
📙Midland The Book Shop South Ex where we learnt that my book is already of great interest to local businesses and their teams, who have purchased it from owner Mirza Usman Baig
📘Midland The Book Shop Hauz Khas which we discovered is a third generation family owned store who too is supplying my book to corporate teams, and
📔Bahrisons Booksellers in the Ambience Mall which fittingly was the last of our book signings and promotions.
The Jewel of Jaipur
Described as ׳the greatest literary show on Earth’, the Jaipur Literature Festival was a spectacular place to conclude my book launch in India.
I was delighted to meet Sanjoy Roy the producer of the Jaipur Literature Festival 📚He and his team host the most extraordinary speakers to learn from. There was no shortage of fascinating sessions to attend which enriched me considerably.
Whilst at the festival we were excited to listen to former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and learn about his book, ‘A Bigger Picture’ as well as share mine with him.
We enjoyed speaking with The Hon Barry OFarrell AO of the Australian High Commission in India whilst sharing our love of India and literature in the Festival book store, Crossword Bookstores (where I was elated seeing where my book was located!😊)
And to finish day 2 I had the privilege of book signings at nearby Rajat Book Corner meeting third generation bookstore owner Mohit Batra who inspired me with his mantra “a book is the smartest hand-held device’!
